Please Consider Helping us in 2017!

What We Need for 2017…

….to INCREASE our budget by $27,000!!!

 And here’s why:

We currently have 55 children in our nutritional program. In addition to dwindling contributions in 2016, our medical team determined that current children in the program are not gaining weight as they should be. We need to increase our sponsorship amount from $30 to $50 per child in the program. Our local agents also desperately requested to add 20 children to the program in 2017. This means increasing our annual budget by $27,000. This is a huge leap given that our annual budget is currently only $70,000 per year

A breakdown of the $20 increase

Due to drought conditions, Hurricane Matthew and other issues, the cost of food products that we distribute to our children has increased dramatically. These items include: AK mil, rice, corn, peas, oil, milk, sugar dried fish (herring), etc.

The bottom line is that we are 100% supporter funded and we need your help! Whether it’s support, volunteering time, or sending fundraising ideas… From all of the board members of Consider Haiti we thank you for your consideration!
