Everyone attending this event can expect GREAT FOOD, DRINK & MUSIC with GREAT COMPANY all while benefiting one of Asheville’s best exports – Consider Haiti!

  • Bike ride will start at Fuddruckers at 2 pm. 13.8 miles around Asheville, paved, partly on some greenway. It will be a group ride – think slow roll, for just the fun of it. Upon returning to Patton Parker we will have a King of the Mountain (KOM) up town mountain to the Sunset intersection, any route goes! For those who want to ride hard up a mountain, Jim got a novel prize for the winner. Here’s a link to the route: https://www.strava.com/routes/942866
  • Great Food and Drink from Patrick O’Cain – dinner served at 6 pm
  • Live music featuring Ben Scales and Friends at 7 pm
  • Evening will end with a fabulous view of downtown fireworks from the Patton Parker Lawn!
  • Event will occur RAIN or SHINE!

*Note: Proceeds of this event will be given to benefit Consider Haiti and our 2017 program initiatives. So, please share this EVENT with as many people as possible!

Are you a 501C3 organization?

Yes, Consider Haiti is a 501c3 non-profit organization. Therefore, all donations are considered tax deductible.

How much of your contributions go directly to your programs?

At least 95% of our contributions go directly back to our programs in Haiti. We do our very best to provide the best medical and nutritional resources to our Haitian agents without sacrificing quality. We keep our administrative costs down so we can optimize the amount of proceeds that go to help the children of Haiti.

How can I get involved with Consider Haiti's efforts?

Who runs Consider Haiti?

Consider Haiti is 100% volunteer based. We have elected American and Haitian Board Members who provide leadership support. Our goal is to empower the Haitian team to provide sustainable resources for Haitian children and their communities. We do this by using local resources and local agents. Our volunteer teams help with everything from assisting with fundraising projects to helping gather supplies for upcoming medical trips.
